The Farncombe Institute Trainee Association is excited to invite you to our annual Research Day, which will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Royal Botanical Gardens.  This event is open to Farncombe Institute faculty, staff, and trainees only.

This year’s theme, Training and Career Development, will feature two distinguished speakers who will share their unique journeys in research:

• David A. Good, PhD Candidate, University of Guelph, an early career researcher whose work reflects the evolving path of today’s scientists.
• Dr. Steve Collins, a senior professor at our institute and an internationally renowned scientist and clinician, who will share insights from his distinguished career in research.

Key Dates:

• Abstract Submission Deadline: September 10, 2024 (abstracts not selected for oral presentation will automatically be considered for posters).
• Registration Deadline: September 17, 2024.

We encourage trainees at all levels to participate by submitting abstracts for oral presentations or titles for posters. Prizes will be awarded for the best presentations and posters. We look forward to celebrating the exciting work happening across our institute and fostering connections among researchers at all stages of their careers. We hope to see you there!
